An interesting story . . .

One day, my friend Dave and I went to a garage sale in the neighborhood. It seemed to be the final items belonging to an older gentleman that had passed away. Dave came across a pair of brand new jeans in the garage. They were his size, and the price was right, 25 cents. After we had gotten home to review our loot from the day, Dave was looking at his newly acquired jeans. Something wasn't right. They had canvas pockets and brass rivets. They also had a big "E" on the red Levis tab in the back. We decided to look up some vintage jeans on the internet (www.manions.com) and we found a similar pair going for $340+. Well to make a long story short, we scanned Dave's blue jeans, and sent the pictures to Manions. They told him to send them for their next auction. It turned out that his 25 cent pair of jeans went for $820.
